Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: drafting job descriptions, advertising vacancies, shortlisting, interviewing, and hiring.
- Oversee employee induction and onboarding programs.
- Maintain an applicant database and ensure timely follow-up on probationary periods and contract renewals.
- Training & Development
- Organize and coordinate staff training sessions and career development initiatives.
- Update and implement tools such as job descriptions, competence profiles, and assessment systems.
- Compensation, Benefits & Employee Services
- Manage payroll administration to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Administer employee benefits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements (NSSF, WCF, OSHA, BRELA). - Track and resolve employee queries within agreed timelines, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

- Employee Relations & Welfare
- Handle conflict resolution, grievances, and disciplinary processes.
- Promote a positive work environment, employee engagement, and wellbeing.
- Counsel employees on policies, performance, and workplace issues.
- Legal Compliance & Policy Management
- Ensure organizational HR policies and practices comply with labor laws and regulations.
- Keep updated with evolving HR best practices and integrate them into the organization.
- Performance Management
- Support line managers with employee appraisals and performance improvement plans.
- Provide timely HR data to inform decision-making.
- Records Management & HR Information Systems
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records (contracts, personal files, performance data).
- Manage attendance and leave records systematically.
- Third-Party & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with external HR consultants and service providers, ensuring delivery within cost, quality, and time standards.
- Ensure stakeholder satisfaction through efficient communication and query resolution

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human resources Management, Administration, or Social Sciences.
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience as an HR Officer or similar role.
- Proven knowledge of HR policies, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Strong presence, Maturity, and ability to build trust with employees and Management.
- Familiarity with Tanzania’s Employment and Labor relations acts.
